Saint Peter’s Athletics Announces Hall of Fame Class of 2025; Induction Ceremony Set for October 4

JERSEY CITY, N.J.- The Saint Peter's University Athletic Department has announced seven new inductees into the historic Saint Peter's Athletics Hall of Fame. 

The 38th Saint Peter's Athletics Hall of Fame induction class includes: Amee Carothers-Sierko '00, women's volleyball; Nicholas Dilio '16, men's golf; Ronnah Parham '15, women's track and field; Victor Santos, baseball; Ramunas Radzevicius '08, men's swimming; Quadir Welton '17, men's basketball; Rachel Wuko '16, women's swimming. Long-time supporter and Peacock fan John Avagliano '76 will also be recognized as an honorary award recipient.
 
The Hall of Fame was formed on February 25, 1981 with the mission of selecting Saint Peter's alumni and non-graduates who have, in some way, been associated with the University and wherein achievements may be set forth for honor and recognition. The Hall of Fame's inaugural dinner was held on October 17, 1981 with 19 charter members inducted.
 
The Saint Peter's University Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2025 Induction Ceremony will take place on Saturday, October 4, at 5 pm in The Duncan Family Sky Room at the Mac Mahon Student Center. Saint Peter's University Hall of Fame Class of 2025 Inductees
 
Amee Carothers-Sierko, a 2000 graduate from Saint Peter's, was part of women's volleyball program that produced an 86-40 (.683) record over her four seasons in a Peacock uniform. She helped lead the program to three straight MAAC Championship finals, earning runner-up in 1997, 1998 and 1999. Carothers-Sierko finished her career and remains the all-time program leaders in assists with 4,184. She holds four of top-10 single season, including the top spot with 1,309 assists in 1997. Her 1,309 assists in 1997 also ranks seventh on the MAAC single season record list. Carothers-Sierko ranks fifth all-time in Saint Peter's history with 161 service aces.
 
Dilio graduated from Saint Peter's in 2016 and was part of a successful for the men's golf team from 2012-16. He finished in the top-15 in all four MAAC Championships that he competed in, including runner-up in 2015. Dilio captured the Peacocks first individual championship in school history in 2016, winning the tournament by five strokes and earning Tournament MVP honors. He tied the record for the lowest single round score in and holds the lowest tournament score by three strokes in Saint Peter's history. Dilio helped lead the Peacocks to back-to-back MAAC team championships in 2013 and 2014, where he was the team's top performers. He was a three-time NCAA individual qualifier in 2014, 2015 and 2016. Dilio returned as the head coach of the program for three seasons, leading the team to the 2017 MAAC team championship.
 
Parham, a 2015 graduate of Saint Peter's, is one of the most decorated women's track and field stars in the program's history. She holds three school records in the 55-meter hurdles, 100-meter hurdles and 300-meter meters. Parham was named the MAAC Outdoor Women's Most Outstanding Track Performer in 2011, after winning the 100-meter and 200-meter hurdles. At the 2010 MAAC Outdoor Championships, she won the 100-meter hurdles and took fourth in the 400-meter hurdles. Parham set the MAAC meet record at the time in the 55-meter hurdles at the 2011 MAAC Indoor Championships and went on to win the 100-meter hurdles at the 2012 MAAC Outdoor Championships. She was part of a successful for the women's track and field team that captured three MAAC Indoor team championships and two MAAC Outdoor titles during her career.
 
Santos played for the Peacocks baseball team from 1992-95, helping lead Saint Peter's to the program's first MAAC Championship in 1994. He was named the MAAC Tournament MVP as the Peacocks captured the league's first tournament title as prior to 1994, the league champion was determined by the regular season standings. Santos was selected to the MAAC South Division All-Conference team in 1995. He etched his mark in the Peacocks record book, tying for the top spot in program history in career wins with 16, ninth in ERA with a 4.42 and second in complete games with 17. Following his Saint Peter's playing career, Santos was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Detroit Tigers in 1995 and played parts of seven seasons in the Major Leagues with Detroit, Colorado, Texas, Milwaukee, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati and Baltimore
 
Radzevicius, a 2008 graduate, was a three-time MAAC Champion in 2006 and 2007 foe the Peacocks. He took second place in two events in 2005 and 2006 and third place in two events in 2005. Radzevicius also shined at the Eastern College Athletic Conference Swimming Championships, as a two-time vice-champion in 2006 and a two-time 3rd place finisher in 2007. In 2007, he was named the Saint Peter's Athletics Senior Student-Athlete of the Year. Radzevicius was also named the captain of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Swimming Team of Saint Peter's in 2006-2007.
 
Welton, a 2017 graduate from Saint Peter's, was a defensive force for the Peacocks men's basketball team from 2013-17. He was a two-time MAAC All-Conference performers, earning second team honors in 2015-16 and first team recognition in 2016-17. Welton was a Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association All-Met Third Team pick in 2017 as he helped lead Saint Peter's to the CollegeInsider.com (CIT) Tournament that season. Welton averaged 11.3 points, 11.3 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game, recording double-doubles in the semifinals and championship game to garner CIT MVP honors. He ranks 22nd in school history with 1,191 points, third all-time in rebounds with 884 and fourth in blocks with 136. Welton holds two of top-20 spots in single season rebounding, placing seventh with 380 boards in 2016-17. In MAAC history, he remains in the top-20 in career rebounds, holding the 16th spot on the conference record book.
 
Wuko, a 2016 graduate of Saint Peters, left a lasting legacy with women's swimming and diving program at Saint Peter's. Since 2014, she currently holds seven individual and relay records. Wuko won the MAAC Championships in eight different events including winning back-to-back championships in the 50 and 100 Freestyle. She is the current MAAC Championship record holder in the 50-meter and 100-meter freestyle, records she has held for over 10 years. She still serves as the standard of excellence for the current female athletes at Saint Peter's
 
Avagliano, a 1977 graduate of Saint Peter's, is the 17th honorary recipient in the history of the Saint Peter's Athletics Hall of Fame. He has been a long-time supporter and fan of the Peacocks. Avagliano has also been a basketball season ticket holder for many years, cheering on the Peacocks.
