BUFFALO, NY - The Saint Peter's University women's soccer team lost to Canisius 3-0 on Saturday afternoon.
Game Notes
- Saint Peter's generated the first chance of the game, as freshman forward Alyssa Hackett had an attempt saved in the seventh minute.
- Sophomore goalkeeper Annabelle Adams made her first save of the game in the tenth minute to keep the score knotted at zero.
- Canisius finally got on the board in the 26th minute.
- The Peacocks continued to try and get a goal, as graduate forward Mya Daniels and sophomore midfielder Lula Mansilla Medina each had attempts stopped by the Canisius keeper.
- The score would remain 1-0 in favor of the Golden Griffins at the break.
- Canisius got their second goal almost immediately after half time, scoring in the 48th minute.
- The Golden Griffins added a third in the 59th minute.
- The Peacocks were unable to create a scoring chance for the rest of the game, as the team fell 3-0 to Canisius.
