Opening Word: 
  • The Saint Peter's University women's basketball team returns to the Garden State this week for a tilt against Seton Hall on Tuesday, Dec. 8. 
  • The contest is currently slated for a 12 p.m. start in South Orange.
  • The Peacocks recently returned from a trip to Baltimore, where they faced Morgan State on Dec. 5. Saint Peter's nearly completed a 16-point comeback against the Bears, leveling the score at 53-53 in the fourth quarter, before ultimately falling 65-57.
  • Redshirt senior Kendrea Williams and classmate Taiah Thornton led the Peacocks on the offensive front, finishing with 19 and 12 points, respectively, while freshman Sky Castro finished as the top rebounder for Saint Peter's, pulling down 10 boards against the Bears.

  • The Peacocks and the Pirates have met on the floor for 20 contests since the first battle between the two sides on Feb. 14, 1972. Saint Peter's trails in the series with an overall record of 4-16.
  • The last exchange between the two squads came on Dec. 2, 2018, when the Peacocks dropped a 90-47 decision in South Orange.
