ON THE FIELD
Club/Travel Team: Rawlings Prospects from 15-18 years old
Favorite Athlete: Albert Pujols/Troy Tolowitzki
Favorite Professional Team: St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Cubs because of Wrigley Field and being from Iowa
Season Expectations/Goals: I expect our sesason to go very well. We have everything we need and more on our team. Our team goals are to win and be MAAC Champions.
Who most influenced your athletic career and why: My brother Ryan. He always used to help me when I was younger whether it was with pitching, throwing me grounders/divers or taking me to a field and throwing me batting practice. He taught me how to throw a knuckle ball, which my grandfather taught him.
Reason you chose your number: I’ve always been 7 since I was little. Sometimes I would be 9 or even 11, but 7 is just my number.
Greatest Sports Memory: One of my favorite memories was hitting a go ahead homerun in the semi-finals of the State Championships my senior year, but my greatest memory was hitting a homerun in my first coach pitch year. I was pretty excited and slid into every base.
OFF THE FIELD
Parents: Shelly Survant
Siblings/Ages: Ryan (28), Justin (25)
Major: Business Administration
Hobbies/Interests: Hang out with friends, play basketball, etc.
Three items you would bring if stranded on a desert island: Swim trunks, Sunglasses and a fishing pole
PEACOCK PRIDE Reason you chose Saint Peter’s College: Coach showed a lot of interest in me and even when there was a chance I would be able to play here, he kept trying to find a way for me to come out and play ball. I also like to travel, so it was nice to be able to come to the east coast and see places like NJ, NY and Times-Square.
Best part about being a Peacock: The school isn’t big so you become closer with people instead of seeing random faces all the time.
Favorite thing to do on/around campus: Hang out with my friends and playing NHL or whatever on XBOX and Playstation. Going to the gym to play basketball, working out, listening to music, etc.
