ATLANTIC CITY – Redshirt sophomore guard
Bryce Eaton of the Saint Peter's men's basketball team was named to the Preseason All-MAAC Second Team, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced Tuesday morning.
Preseason All-MAAC honors are selected and voted on by the league's 13 head coaches.
Eaton is joined by guards Elijah Lewis (Marist), Jaden Zimmerman (Quinnipiac), Mekhi Conner (Sacred Heart) and Gavin Doty (Siena) on the Preseason All-MAAC Second Team.
In his 2024-25 campaign, Eaton averaged 10.9 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game for the Peacocks as a redshirt freshman. He was one of the top underclassmen in the conference and was selected the MAAC Player of the Week twice. His 2.4 assists per game also ranked 18th in the MAAC.
Eaton looks to step into more of a leadership role in year two in Jersey City, being one of six returners from last year's squad. He redshirted his freshman year at Central Michigan before transferring to Saint Peter's in 2024.
