NEW YORK, NY – The Saint Peter's Michael C. Alcamo Men's 4x400m relay team competed in the 117th Millrose Games at the NYC Armory this afternoon, placing fourth overall with a time of 3:19.22.
The relay squad—graduate student Delano Gooden, junior Cashieve Blair, and sophomores Temiloluwa Adesetan and Connor Ziolkowski—delivered a strong performance against a competitive field.
Gooden got the Peacocks off to a fast start, splitting 49.18 on the opening leg to hand off in second place. Blair kept the momentum going, clocking 49.08 as the second leg to hold the team's position. Adesetan, making his debut in the 400m, faced a tough third leg where the field tightened, recording a 51.88 split as Saint Peter's dropped to fourth. Ziolkowski closed out the relay with a 49.10 anchor leg, securing the Peacocks' fourth-place finish.
Central Connecticut claimed victory in 3:16.46, followed by Monroe College (3:16.77) and Fordham (3:18.34). Manhattan (3:20.76) and Essex CC (3:20.83) rounded out the standings.
Up next, the Peacocks will travel to Boston for the David Hemery Valentine Invitational, hosted by Boston University on February 14-15.
