FAIRFAX, Va. – The Saint Peter's track and field program saw two of its athletes compete in the 100-meter at the ECAC/IC4A Championships on Saturday at George Mason Stadium.
Shania McDuffie and
Karilynn Jimenez ran in the 100m preliminary round today but they missed the qualifying mark by just two spots. McDuffie placed 10th with a time of 11.99 while Jimenez ran a personal best 12.05 for an 11th place finish. Despite not qualifying, both athletes will lace up tomorrow in the 200-meter finals.
Connor Ziolkowski will also lace up and he will start the day out for the Peacocks competing in the 400-meter Hurdles at 12:25 p.m. ET. He will be followed by McDuffie and Jimenez in the 200m at 12:40 p.m.
