Fairfield Recorded 3-1 Win Over Saint Peter's on Wednesday

Box Score FAIRFIELD, CONN.- Saint Peter's Women's Soccer lost to Fairfield University, 3-1, on Wednesday night at Lessing Field.
Game Notes

• Wednesday's match was within the Peacocks' reach up until the final 15 minutes of play.  
• Maddy Theriault put the Stags on the board first with a goal that came in the 22^nd minute.
• Saint Peter's freshman Cara Therrien tied the game at 1-1 with a 31^st-minute goal.
• Following Therrien's goal, Fairfield answered back one minute later with a goal from Emilie Cook.  
• Reagan Klarmann put the finishing touches on Fairfield's win with a goal at the 76-minute mark.
• The goal placed Fairfield ahead of Saint Peter's, 3-1.  
• Fairfield moved to 9-1-1 with the win over the Peacocks.
• With Wednesday's loss, Saint Peter's dropped to 3-7 on the season.
