SOUTH ORANGE, NJ. - The Saint Peter's volleyball team wrapped up the Seton Hall Classic with two matches against nonconference opponents. The Peacocks (0-6) fell to George Mason and Seton Hall 3-0.
Notes: SPU VS George Mason
- SPU's Samantha Trujillo and Morgan Thurlow had a team-high 5.5 points.
- Sydney Kuzma had four kills and Elena Bilhartz notched two blocks.
- The Peacocks dropped the first set against GMU 25-13. The Patriots closed out the first set on a 7-0 run.
- SPU led the second and third set. The Peacocks were up 11-9 in the second set before GMU went on a 5-0 run and additionally, the Peacocks led the third set 8-4 before GMU went on a 3-0 run.
- George Mason had 31 more kills than Saint Peter's.
- The Peacocks had five more blocks than the Patriots. .

- Elena Bilhartz led the Peacocks in points with 7.5.
- Bilhartz, Georgia Remmers, and Mackenzie Tucker each had a team-high six kills.
- The Peacocks started the first set on a 3-0 run but fell 25-15.
- The Pirates won the next two sets 25-20. With the second set tied at 12, the Pirates went on a 5-0 run and never lost their lead. The third set was close as the Peacocks battled back to make the score 22-20. The Pirates closed out the match on a 3-0 run.
- SHU had 30 more points and 27 more kills than SPU.
Up next, the Peacocks will travel to Easton Pennsylvania for a midweek match at Lafayette on Wednesday, Sep. 6. Following that, SPU travels to Providence for the Friar Classic. Saint Peter's is slated for a matchup against Providence on Friday Sep. 8. On Saturday, Sep. 9 the Peacocks will conclude the weekend with Bryant at 11 and Central Connecticut State at 3:30.
