JERSEY CITY, N.J. – Four Saint Peter's University volleyball players earned spots on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, CSC announced on Tuesday.
The Peacocks were represented by
Indira T. Benitez Dumeng,
Elena Bilhartz,
Sibana Gonzalez Acevedo and
Karolina T. Rodriguez Mendez.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District Women's Volleyball teams, selected by CSC, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
In 2025, Benitez Dumeng totaled 235 kills, averaging 2.18 kills per set in 28 matches played. She added 65.0 blocks and 97 digs on the receiving end. Her best performance of the season came in a five-set match at home against Sacred Heart, where she dropped 16 kills, seven digs and six blocks.
Bilhartz had a great final season playing for the Peacocks, surpassing 500 career kills in the final match of the year. She had the second-most blocks on the team with 83.0, which ranked fourth in the MAAC. Bilhartz finished her Saint Peter's volleyball career with 503 kills, 53 aces, 324.0 blocks and 131 digs.
Gonzalez Acevedo led the Peacocks in kills this year with 252, averaging 2.52 kills per set in 100 sets played. She also had the second most aces on the team with 31. The junior outside hitter finished the season with 187 digs and 28.0 blocks on the defensive side of the net.
Rodriguez Mendez finished her 2025 campaign as one of the top hitters in the MAAC. She ranked 10th in the conference in hitting percentage with a mark of .286. Rodriguez Mendez had seven double-digit kill matches this year on her way to 192 total kills. She was a force at the net with a team-high 93.0 blocks.
