NEW ROCHELLE, NY. - The Saint Peter's volleyball team was defeated by the Iona Gaels (7-6) three sets to none on Sunday. The Peacocks dropped to 0-13 on the season and 0-3 in conference play.
Match Notes:
- SPU fell 25-13 in the first set, 25-15 in the second set, and 25-18 in the third.
- Mackenzie Tucker delivered a team-high ten points on ten kills.
- Skylee Nelson and Evin Jordee converted one service ace each for the Peacocks.
- At the net, Elena Bilhartz and Morgan Thurlow had one block each.
- The Gaels recorded a 0.351 hit% and 26 more kills than the Peacocks.
Next, the Peacocks will travel to Rider for a match on Saturday Sep. 23 at 1PM.
