Sophomore
Jada Leonard opened up the floor from three-point range against Wagner. She finished the first half with 10 points. During the first quarter, she went 2-for-3 from the floor. She has a total of 72 points, 25 rebounds, and 12 steals on the season.
Freshman
Fatmata Janneh had five rebounds during the first quarter against Wagner. She posted 21 points and 12 rebounds against Wagner, her third career double-double. In the Peacocks other win this season, Janneh had a total of seven points during the first quarter against LIU. She has 49 rebounds so far this season.
About NJIT
The NJIT Women's Basketball team enters the game with a record of 5-5. The Highlanders victories came earlier in the season against Army, Merrimack, Rider, Wagner, and FDU. NJIT ranks fifth in the America East Conference. The team shoots a stark 60.5 percent from the floor.
Alejandra Zuniga has posted 143 points this season. Zuniga leads the Highlanders with 14.3 points per game.
