JERSEY CITY, NJ - The Saint Peter's University women's soccer team lost to NJIT 2-0 on Sunday afternoon.
Game Notes
- Senior forward Jazmin Brown recorded the first shot of the game in the fifth minute. Her attempt was saved.
- NJIT scored in the 15th minute to take a 1-0 lead.
- Saint Peter's dominated the possession for most of the second half following the NJIT goal Junior defender Leslie Pineda had an attempt saved in the 31st minute.

- The elements started to become a factor as the second half kicked off.
- Sophomore goalkeeper Annabelle Adams came up huge in the 68th minute, making a big save to keep the score 1-0.
- NJIT pounced on a loose ball in the 74th minute and scored to take a 2-0 lead.
- The score would finish 2-0 in favor of the Highlanders.

- Saint Peter's recorded ten shots. Graduate midfielder Skyler Owens led the way with three. Brown, freshman forward Alyssa Hackett, and freshman forward Xochilt Turijan each had two.
- The Peacocks put three shots on target. Brown had two and Pineda had one.
- Adams made her first start of the season and made five saves.
