Tip-Off 

  • The Peacocks hit the road this weekend for two games, starting with Marist on Thursday.
  • The Peacocks are coming off of a 69-56 win over Rider last game. Junior center Kassondra Brown led the way for the Peacocks, scoring 20 points and getting 15 rebounds. That was her third consecutive double-double.
  • The two teams met earlier this season at Saint Peter's, with the Peacocks coming away with the 58-45 victory. Graduate guard Kendrea Williams had 23 points in the outing.

Dre's Year

  • Williams hit three three pointers in the game against Rider on 2/12. She broke the career three-point record at Saint Peter's, as she now has 169 and counting. Tania Kennedy '09 previously held the record with 167 during her outstanding career.
  • Williams reached the 1,000 point milestone at Saint Peter's in the last game against Marist, scoring a layup with 3:26 left in the fourth quarter to hit the magic number. She is the 24th Peacock in history to achieve this.
  • Williams eclipsed the 2,000 point mark of her career with 3:47 remaining in the second quarter against Canisius on 12/19. She has achieved that total by scoring for both FDU-Florham and Saint Peter's.
  • Williams ranks fourth amongst the active career scoring leaders in the country.
  • She is ranked seventh amongst the active career three-point field goal leaders in the NCAA.

On the Rise

  • The Peacocks currently sit sixth in the MAAC standings with just a few weeks left in the season. They have a 7-6 record in conference.
  • The team sits behind Fairfield, Quinnipiac, Manhattan, Monmouth, and Niagara. Saint Peter's has a 1-6 record combined against those teams.
  • The Peacocks are 6-0 against teams below them in the conference standings.
  • Conference standings for both men and women will return to overall MAAC wins this season and will not be based on MAAC winning percentage. 

Trip Upstate

  • Marist and Saint Peter's have split their last four meetings, with each team winning twice.
  • The Red Foxes took down the Peacocks in the MAAC Championship last season, winning 69-30. That was the Peacocks first appearance in the conference championship since 2002.
  • Marist, who won the MAAC last season, currently sits tenth in the conference standings. Saint Peter's sits sixth after finishing the regular season in third.

  • The Peacocks head back out on the road, visiting Iona on Saturday, Feb. 19. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 p.m.
