JERSEY CITY, NY – The Saint Peter's women's volleyball team lost three sets to none against Niagara on Saturday afternoon.
Freshman Morgan Thurlow led the team in scoring with 5.5 points in the contest.
Match Notes
- Freshman Madelyn Harrison recorded the first point of the match for the Peacocks with a kill. Niagara dominated the set however, taking the set 25-11, including winning the last five points.
- The second set had a similar result as the first, as the Purple Eagles again won, this time 25-12.
- The Peacocks got out to an early lead in the third set and hung tough throughout, but were unable to win the set, losing 25-15.
Inside the Numbers
- Thurlow had 5.5 points and four kills.
- Freshman Sydney Kuzma had three kills and 4.5 points. She also added four digs and an assist.
- Freshman Lillian Konrad had 15 assists and nine digs.
- Junior Alexis Kapales led the team in kills with 16.
