BUFFALO, NY – The Saint Peter's women's volleyball lost three sets to one against Canisius on Saturday.
Freshman Elena Bilhartz was the Peacocks leading scorer on the day, tallying 17.5 points.
Match Notes
- Canisius went on a 4-0 run to start the first set. They also went on 4-0 and 5-0 runs later on in the set. They won 25-14.
- The second set saw the Peacocks jump out in front 4-0. Later on in the set, the Peacocks led 12-10 before going on another 4-0 run to extend their lead to 16-10. They would end up holding on and winning the second set 25-23.
- Canisius dominated the third set, winning 25-11.
- The Peacocks and Golden Griffins exchanged points in the fourth set, as no team led by more than three points throughout the duration of the set. Canisius would sneak out a 25-23 victory and claim the match.
