Volleyball Loses at Niagara

NIAGARA, NY – The Saint Peter's women's volleyball lost three sets to none against Niagara on Sunday.

Freshman Morgan Thurlow was the Peacocks leading scorer on the day, tallying 8.5 points.

Match Notes

• The two teams opened the first set by splitting the first 12 points. Niagara later went on a 9-0 run to take a commanding lead. They would win the set 25-11.
• The second set was much closer, but Niagara answered every good moment by the Peacocks, as they won 25-17.
• The Peacocks went on a 4-0 run midway through the third set, but it was not enough as Niagara won the set 25-20.

Inside the Numbers

• Thurlow had seven kills and 8.5 points.
• Freshman Sydney Kuzma had 5.5 points and five kills.
• Freshman Alexis Kapales had 11 digs and three assists.
• Freshman Lillian Konrad had ten assists.

• Saint Peter's is back in action next weekend, hosting Fairfield on Saturday, October 15th and Quinnipiac on Sunday, October 16th. Both matches are set for 1 p.m.
