RIVERDALE, NY - The Saint Peter's University women's soccer team tied Manhattan 2-2 on Wednesday night. Based off of other results that happened throughout the day, the Peacocks needed to win to lock up a postseason berth. Graduate forward Mya Daniels and sophomore midfielder Lula Mansilla Medina scored for the Peacocks.
Game Notes
- The Peacocks peppered the Jaspers for the first ten minutes of the game, including Daniels hitting the post in the tenth minute.
- Graduate midfielder Kinlee Bruns had an attempt stopped in the 21st minute.
- Manhattan scored in the 41st minute and held a 1-0 lead heading into the break.
- Needing to come from behind, the Peacocks answered the bell to start the second half, as Daniels scored in the 51st minute to tie the game. Freshman midfielder Stella Accettola provided the assist after she came on only four minutes earlier.
- Saint Peter's was in poll position eight minutes later as Mansilla Medina converted a penalty kick to put the Peacocks up 2-1.
- Freshman goalkeeper Olivia Mackethan was forced to make two saves across the next six minutes to keep the score tied.
- The Jaspers scored in the 82nd minute to tie the game. Neither team was able to score another goal as the two teams ended their seasons with a draw.

- Daniels' goal was her first of the season and second at Saint Peter's.
