JERSEY CITY, NJ - The Saint Peter's University women's soccer team lost to Quinnipiac 2-0 Saturday afternoon. The team honored seniors Morgan Day and Jazmin Brown prior to the game.
Game Notes
- The Peacocks struggled to generate offense throughout the game. Their only shot on target came off of a free kick from graduate defender Brooke Boutchie in the 10th minute.
- Quinnipiac scored in the 32nd minute to take the lead.
- The score would remain 1-0 in favor of the Bobcats heading into the half.
- The Bobcats scored again in the 50th minute to double their lead.
- Saint Peter's was unable to generate another shot in the game, as the Bobcats claimed victory.
