JERSEY CITY, NJ – The Saint Peter's women's volleyball lost three sets to one against Quinnipiac on Sunday.
Freshman Elena Bilhartz was the Peacocks leading scorer on the day, tallying 11.5 points.
Match Notes
- Early on in the first set, Quinnipiac was up 6-4 and then went on a 6-0 run to extend their lead to eight. The Peacocks would never make up the margin, losing the set 25-17.
- Saint Peter's came out fighting in the second set winning eight of the first 12 points to take an 8-4 lead. However, the Bobcats would end up scoring ten out of the next 11 points. They would later go on a 7-0 run to seal the comeback and win the set 25-16.
- The Peacocks refused to be swept today, as they were able to hold on for a 25-23 third set victory to force a fourth set.
- Quinnipiac proved to be too much for the Peacocks, as they would win 25-17 in the fourth set to take the match.

- Bilhartz had 11.5 points and 11 kills.
- Freshman Mackenzie Tucker had 11 points, ten digs, and ten kills.
- Freshman Sydney Kuzma had four kills and seven digs.
- Freshman Lillian Konrad had 32 assists and nine digs.
