LOUDONVILLE, NY – The Saint Peter's University baseball team suffered a pair of losses on the road at Siena College on Friday afternoon at Connors Park in Loudonville, NY. The Peacocks' record falls to 2-10 on the season following the two defeats.
Game 1

How It Happened
- Both sides loaded their respective bases in the opening inning, but each left all three runners stranded, keeping the meeting scoreless.
- Siena added a run in the second and Saint Peter's had another opportunity to score in the third getting the first two hitters on, but subsequently the next three batters all struck out.
- The Saints added a pair of insurance runs in the fourth, one in the fifth, and four in the sixth, puting the Peacocks in an 8-0 hole.
- SPU erased the shutout in the seventh by way of Andrew Connor's RBI double down the left field line, bringing home Jake Wagner for the run.
Notes
- Connor, Wagner, Parker Gray, and Kyle Mahady each recorded a hit in the opening meeting.
- Along with posting the team's only RBI, Connor also hit the only extra base hit with his double.
- The Peacocks left nine total on base in the defeat.
- Siena freshman pitcher Connor Bovair (3-3) snagged a complete game victory and Saint Peter's ace Ian Concevitch (1-1) received his first setback of the season after going 5.2 innings and striking out five.

How It Happened
- After giving up a trio of runs in the first inning, the Peacocks settled down and shut down Siena for the next three straight innings.
- Saint Peter's only gave up a pair of hits over the three innings and forced Siena to leave four runners on base.
- Despite getting the job done defensively, the offense failed to get the bats going, only putting two balls in play during the same timeframe.
- In the fifth, sixth, and seventh, Siena combined to score seven total runs, propelling its lead to a 10-0 final.

- In the night cap, Chris Marquart went 2-of-3 at the bag to lead SPU.
- Nick Font, Matthew Dubois, and Mahady each logged a single hit in the meeting, while the team left eight on in the final game of the day.
