LOUDONVILLE, NY – The Saint Peter's University baseball team dropped Saturday's twin bill at Siena College on Saturday afternoon at Connors Park in Loudonville, NY. The Peacocks' record falls to 2-12 on the season, while Siena improves to 10-16.

How It Happened
- Saint Peter's got a pair on base in the first inning behind back to back errors from Siena's defense, but could not bring either home.
- After consecutive scoreless half innings by both sides, Siena put together a four-run rally in the second to take the lead.
- The Saints would follow the second up with five runs in the third and two in the fourth, going ahead 11-0.
- Still trailing by the same mark in the top of the sixth, Andrew Connor got on first due to a fielding error with one out.
- Consecutive walks would advance Connor to third and Sam Delcollo's sacrifice fly would bring him across home to put SPU on the board.
- Siena would add a trio of runs in the bottom half of the frame to claim the 14-1 win.

How It Happened
- Leadoff batter Jake Wagner hit a single through the left side to get the nightcap started for Saint Peter's, the team's first hit of the day.
- Although Wagner got on base, three straight outs would end the inning.
- The tilt remained scoreless until Siena put up four runs in the bottom half of the third.
- In the fifth, Matthew Dubois connected on a single to left field, giving the Peacocks their second hit of the game but did not convert the hit into runs.
- The Saints would score one run in every inning from the sixth through eighth, extending its lead over SPU to 7-0.
Notes
- Wagner and Dubois recorded the Peacocks only hits Saturday, while Connor drew a walk in the second game, putting three on base during the final contest in the series.
- Siena starting pitcher Brooks Knapek (1-1) pitched a complete game shutout and earned the win and Dubois (0-2) received the defeat following 6.0 innings of work with five strikeouts.
