Women’s Soccer Celebrates Senior Day; Peacocks Host Siena in Season Finale

The Kick Off:

• The Saint Peter's University women's soccer team finishes the 2021 season when they host the Siena Saints this Wednesday.
• Last time out, the Peacocks beat Canisius by a score of 2-0.
• Senior midfielder Stephanie Radakovic scored both goals in the win.
• The Peacocks earned their most wins in conference play since 2018.

History with the Saints:

• This will be the 32nd meeting all-time between the Peacocks and the Saints. 
• Saint Peter's has a 5-25-1 record all-time against Siena.
• Last time the two teams met, the Saints defeated the Peacocks 4-1 on March 30, during the abbreviated 2020-2021 season. Junior defender Jazmin Brown scored the goal in that matchup on an assist from Radakovic.
• The Peacocks last beat the Saints on September 28, 2019, by a score of 1-0 in Loudonville, NY. Senior defender Brooke Boutchie scored the winning goal off of a free kick.

Radakovic Named MAAC Offensive Player of the Week:

• Senior midfielder Stephanie Radakovic has been named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Offensive Player of the Week for women's soccer.
• Radakovic, who comes to Jersey City by way of Lake Ronkonkoma, New York, registered two goals in the 2-0 win at home this past Saturday against Canisius. Radakovic also played every minute for the Peacocks over the course of their two games last week.
• Appearing and starting in all fifteen games so far this season, the senior captain has been a vital leader for the young Peacocks team. Scoring twice this past week and recording an assist earlier in the season, Radakovic leads the team in points with five. She has totaled three goals and three assists over the course of her Peacock career.

Season Highlights:

• Senior forward Amber Whitley got a win in net this season in a 1-0 win over Rider, making four saves in the effort. Senior forward Mya Daniels scored the winning goal with four minutes to go off of an assist from Greenberg.
• Freshman midfielder Lula Mansilla Medina scored her first career goal on August 29 against Army.
• Freshman defender Carlota Pastor Romero scored her first career goal against Marist on September 26.
• Whitley scored in a matchup with Lafayette on September 8.
• Freshman goalkeeper Annabelle Adams leads all MAAC Rookie goalkeepers in saves. She has 57 on the season.
