For Starters

The Saint Peter's University women's soccer team will head north to Loudonville, New York, to take on the Siena Saints on Saturday, Sept. 28, at 1 p.m.
The Peacocks will look to bounce back after dropping their conference opener against three-time defending champion Monmouth last Saturday at home. Saint Peter's fought valiantly in that match and was tied at the half after Julianna Murrill scored a highlight-reel goal in the 24th minute, but the Hawks would go on to win by a 3-1 final.
Saturday's match against Siena marks the first conference game on the road for the Peacocks this season. The Saints enter the weekend at 2-5-3 overall and played to a draw in their MAAC opener.

History with the Saints

The Peacocks and the Saints have met 29 times since 1992, including two playoff matches in 1996 and 2013.
Thus far, Saint Peter's holds an overall record of 4-24-1 against Siena.
The Peacocks will be looking for their first win against the Loudonville side since 1998, when Saint Peter's defeated Siena, 2-1, at home.
