  • The Peacocks return to MAAC play this weekend with a home series against Monmouth.
  • The teams will meet on Saturday at 12 and 3 p.m., and on Sunday at 1 p.m.
  • Earlier in the week, the Peacocks dropped a road non-conference game to Lehigh, 13-5.
  • Despite the margin of defeat, the contest was tied as late as the seventh inning and the Peacocks only trailed by one run midway through the eighth inning before a late-game surge by Lehigh.
  • On the season, Peter Ferony leads the team in hitting percentage, total hits and RBI, while Nicholas Sciubba is the team leader in runs scored.
  • Trent Koerner and Jared Paladino have each hit one homer on the season.

  • Since the 1969 season, Saint Peter's and Monmouth have clashed 54 times, with the Peacocks trailing the all-time series 15-39.

About the Coach
  • Danny Ramirez enters his third season as the baseball head coach at Saint Peter's in 2018-19.
  • In year number two, Ramirez led the Peacocks to a win over MAAC playoff qualifier Siena and a 7-1 blowout win over Iona for the program's largest margin of victory in over three years and largest MAAC margin of victory in four years.
  • His ace, Willie Krajnik, became the first player under Ramirez to earn all-league honors, being selected to the All-MAAC Second team.
  • Over his two seasons as the skipper, Ramirez has guided 15 student-athletes to MAAC All-Academic honors.
