Ferony Erupts for Career-High Five RBI; Peacocks Drop Game to Butler

The Peacocks fell 21-7 in the opening game of the Russmatt Central Florida Invitational

KISSIMMEE, FL – Senior Peter Ferony batted in a career-high five runs in the first contest of the Russmatt Central Florida Invitational in Kissimmee, Florida. The Peacocks fell in the contest to Butler, 21-7.
 
Game Notes
  • Butler scored five combined runs in the game's first two innings, to jump out to a 5-0 lead over the Peacocks.
  • In the top of the third inning, Peter Ferony put the Peacocks on the scoreboard when he hit a two-run RBI, scoring Nicholas Sciubba and Hunter Mason.
  • Butler would add five more runs in the bottom of the third and fourth combined, extending its lead over Saint Peter's to 10-2.
  • The fifth inning produced three runs for Saint Peter's to cut into the deficit.
  • The three-run inning began with Sciubba hitting an RBI double to send Mason across home plate.
