  • Saint Peter's will play in two games this week before opening conference action this weekend.  
  • The Peacocks open their home slate on Tuesday, March 19 by welcoming Albany to Caven Point Field, with first pitch set for 3 p.m.
  • On Wednesday, the team travels to Staten Island for a single game versus Wagner that starts at 3 p.m.

  • Over the weekend, the Peacocks dropped a three-game series to Central Connecticut State, falling 5-3, 9-6, 12-4.

  • The teams had previously met annually from 2004 until 2017 with last seasons scheduled game cancelled due to inclement weather.
  • The last time the two met during the 2017 season, Wagner pulled out a 9-2 win in Jersey City.
  • The Peacocks last defeated the Seahawks in 2013, earning a 12-8 home win.
 
Scouting the Seahawks
  • The Wagner Seahawks are 4-11 on the season.
  • After a 1-10 start to the season, Wagner has since won 3 out of 4 games.
  • The three wins feature a victory over Fordham and a 2-1 series edge over Mount St. Mary's.
  • The Seahawks are 2-1 at home and will host Seton Hall on Tuesday before meeting the Peacocks on Wednesday.

About the Coach
  • Danny Ramirez enters his third season as the baseball head coach at Saint Peter's in 2018-19.
  • In year number two, Ramirez led the Peacocks to a win over MAAC playoff qualifier Siena and a 7-1 blowout win over Iona for the program's largest margin of victory in over three years and largest MAAC margin of victory in four years.
  • His ace, Willie Krajnik, became the first player under Ramirez to earn all-league honors, being selected to the All-MAAC Second team.
  • Over his two seasons as the skipper, Ramirez has guided 15 student-athletes to MAAC All-Academic honors.
