  • The Saint Peter's University women's soccer team returns to Jaroschak Field to take on Marist on Wednesday (Oct. 23) at 3 p.m.
  • The Peacocks are coming off their first draw of the season after rallying back from a late two-goal deficit and finishing in a 2-2 deadlock at Canisius this past Saturday.
  • Down by a pair with less than 15 minutes left, sophomore forward Julianna Murrill started the rally with an unassisted goal in the 78th minute to bring the Peacocks within one.
  • Freshman midfielder Madison Greenberg went on to put in the equalizer for Saint Peter's in the 86th minute, capitalizing off the assist from Brooke Boutchie. 
History with the Red Foxes
  • Wednesday's match marks the 24th meeting between the Peacocks and the Red Foxes.
  • The two squads have met annually since their first match in 1996, including a playoff match on Oct. 29, 2009.
  • All-time, the Peacocks hold a 5-18 record against the Red Foxes.
  • The last matchup between the two teams came on Oct. 6, 2018, when the Peacocks dropped a 3-1 decision in Poughkeepsie.
