Women’s Volleyball Suffers a Four Set Loss to Canisius

BUFFALO, NY: The Saint Peter's women's volleyball team dropped a conference meeting with Canisius in Buffalo on Saturday afternoon, losing in four sets  (25-22) (13-25).
 
Game Notes vs. Canisius:

• The Peacock's (3-14, 1-3 MAAC) came up short in the first match of the weekend against Canisius College.
• The Peacocks fell behind 2-0 after surrendering the two sets (21-25) (11-25). 
• The team bounced back to win in the third set (25-22), but Canisius finished the game in the fourth set (13-25). 

Inside the Numbers:

• Angeleyshka Curbelo led the team with 13 kills against Canisius.
• Right behind Curbelo was Karen Ramiu with 12 kills.
• Alexus Sharp added on six kills in the match. 
• Angelee Ng dished out 31 assists. 
• Karla Seda added a team high of 16 digs for the match.
• Ng also contributed six digs.
