NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, NY - The Saint Peter's Women's Volleyball team dropped its final conference match of the weekend against Niagara after losing a tight five set contest.
Game Notes vs. Niagara
- The Peacock's (3-15, 1-4 MAAC) came up short in the final match of the weekend against Niagara University falling in five.
- The Peacocks fell behind early after surrendering a close first set.
- The first set was a nail biter but the Peacocks came up just short (23-25).
- The team bounced back to win in the second and third sets (25-16) and (25-15).
- Niagara rebounded and finished the game in the fourth and fifth set (23-25) (14-16).
Inside the Numbers:
- Karen Ramiu recorded her first career double-double with 23 kills and 17 digs.
- Angeleyshka Curbelo recorded her fourth career double-double with 13 kills and 13 digs.
- Carolina Ruiz was just shy of a double-double with nine assists and 17 digs.
- Karla Seda added a team high of 21 digs for the match.
- Angelee Ng dished out 39 assists against Niagara.
