Women’s Soccer Suffers Setback at Unbeaten Lafayette

EASTON, PA – Undefeated Lafayette College (3-0) topped the Saint Peter's women's soccer team, 3-0 on Sunday afternoon. The Peacocks season record falls to 0-2 on the year.

• The Peacock offense looked to score quickly, as Alexandria Couto sent a header to the goal that was saved by the Lafayette goalie within the first five minutes of the game.
• The Peacocks again missed on an opportunity to find the back of the net in the 21st minute when Julianna Murrill's shot was stopped by Lafayette's goalie.
• In the final minute of the half, Barbara Paiva sent a shot at Lafayette goalkeeper, keeping the game scoreless.
• The Peacocks and Leopards played an even first half as neither team found the back of the net in the first 45 minutes of action.
