ON THE FIELD
Club/Travel Team: CFC United
Favorite Athlete: Megan Rapinoe, Lauren Cheney
Favorite Professional Team: USWNT
Two things I bring to the team: Technical skills and the love of the game
My favorite thing about being a student-athlete is: Our team is so close so we always hang out with each other. My best friends are on the soccer team. Plus, sometimes the professors like us better because we are student-athletes.
Since my last competitive season the aspect of my training I’ve worked on the most is: I’ve worked on shooting a lot because I want to become a bigger threat towards goal. Also, I worked on fitness.
Who most influenced your athletic career and why: My Dad. He has pushed me in soccer ever since I was a little girl. He made me do clinics or train with the older girls when I didn’t want to, but thanks to him I am where I am today. Without my dad I wouldn’t be playing D1 soccer. He really has made me into the player I am today and he is one of the main reasons I am still playing soccer today. I wouldn’t have been able to play at a division one level if my Dad didn’t push me to do the little things. He taught me to never give up. My Dad introduced me to one of the most important things in my life and I truly thank him for that. I love you Dad.
Favorite motivational quote: “We all have the ability, the difference is how we use it.”
Reason you chose your number: Before college my number was 4 basically my whole life, but someone took it so I chose 3. I chose it because I like smaller numbers and it was the closest to 4, but now I love it.
What is your biggest sports’ thrill: I think my biggest sports thrill is helping the team win and just winning in general.
Pre-game Rituals: I usually try to visualize the game in my head before and listening to music especially on bus rides gets my really pumped. Also, on game days I wear a certain color pre wrap. Last year I wore lime green every game, but it depends each year. I just make sure I wear the same color pre wrap each game.
Greatest Sports Memory: One of my greatest sports memories actually happened last year. We were playing a conference game and they needed to win the game in order to make it to playoffs. They ended up scoring the first goal, but then I got a cross from one of my teammates and I was waiting around the top of the 18, I chested the ball and then volleyed it in the upper 90 with my left foot. It was probably one of the best goals I have scored ever. Then right after I scored, my roommate (aka my best friend) scored off a free kick. (We have been planning to both score in the same game since the beginning of the season) It was a beautiful kick also into the upper 90. We ended winning the game 2-1 and kicking them out of playoffs. It was a great memory because most people thought that we couldn’t beat them and we proved them wrong.
OFF THE FIELD
Nickname: Mag, Mags, Marge (but I hate that one and its dying down anyways)

Career Ambition: I want to work for a business in NYC and or I want to work for/ own a magazine company.

One fun fact about me: My favorite animal is a frog and I used to collect all types of frog things when I was younger. I still have the collection somewhere in my house. However, I never actually had a pet frog.
Playing on my iPod right now: Country music
My most prized personal possession is: My phone
Favorite childhood cartoon/show: Big Comfy Couch, Arthur

Top 3 Favorite T.V. Shows: Chelsea lately, How I met your mother, The Big Bang Theory
Hobbies/Interests: Soccer is basically it. Some of us at school do like the play whiffle ball though. Oh and I love doing community service with the team, it’s always a fun time.
If you could visit any country/place in the world where would it be: London
What three items would you bring if stranded on a desert island? What one teammate would you bring?: I would bring Emily Fenice because she would do stupid things that would entertain me and she would be mad if I didn’t write her down. I would bring my iPod with country music on it because Emily and I love country music dance parties. I would bring lots of water obviously so I could stay hydrated and I would bring some fireworks to set off because they look pretty and so someone will see it and come save us.
PEACOCK PRIDE
Reason you chose Saint Peter’s: Soccer, near the city, and everyone was nice
Best part about being a Peacock: The fact that no one else is a peacock except our school is awesome. We all embrace the peacock.
Favorite thing to do on/around campus: Hang out in the quad with peeps
One thing I really like about Saint Peter’s that most people wouldn’t know: During the spring once a week they would always have some cool event going on in the quad during lunch time. There was a poster sale, mini golf, an airbrush station, a tiki bar and much more. Plus, they always have music bumping in the quad.
