Favorite Professional Team: Barcelona
This season I think our team will accomplish: This season I think our team is going to be much more successful than our past, and hopefully enough for everyone to recognize. Winning games will become more of a habit.
Two things I bring to the team: Leadership and Motivation
My favorite thing about being a student-athlete is: Having the opportunity to support and represent our school. It is also a great way to experience school creating close niche relationships.
Since my last competitive season the aspect of my training I’ve worked on the most is: Focusing less on avoiding to make mistakes and instead, trying to fix them rather than dwell on them.
Who most influenced your athletic career and why: Heather Barclay who was my coach and is a close friend, has probably influenced my athletic career the most, forcing me in every positive aspect to see all the great things about the sport I have always loved. Always looking to her as a role model and inspiration to work as hard as her and see successes in the future.
Favorite motivational quote: “Victories, whatever they may be, cherish them, use them, but don’t settle for them.”-Mia Hamm
Reason you chose your number: I chose the number 10 because it is the number of my favorite athlete who I wish and hope I could share many qualities with on the soccer field.
What is your biggest sports’ thrill: Playing in an extremely competitive game where every second of the game is like fighting for your life and each player along side you is fighting for that same goal.
Pre-game Rituals: I always put my left equipment on before my right. Usually, I take my earrings off before game time and change into my uniform right before stepping on the field
Greatest Sports Memory: Winning my semi-final game against our high school team rivals.
