JERSEY CITY, N.J. - The Saint Peter's women's basketball team will return home on Tuesday, Nov. 25th against Lehman for the first time in both programs' history at Run Baby Run Arena. Tip off for the matchup is slated for 3:00 pm ET. The contest will be streamed live on ESPN+.
This matchup between the Peacocks and the Lightning will break new ground, as both programs face off against each other for the first time in program history. For the visitors to start, the Lightning are off to a red hot start as they enter at a record of 4-3. Lehman comes off a history-making victory against Kean 70-59, the first time the Lightning has beaten the Cougars since 1975. In the victory, Sage Fanelli posted a season best 26 points, leading both teams in scoring.
For the Peacocks, this contest will be the first home game of the 2025-26 season after beginning the year with four straight road trips. Despite sitting at an 0-4 start, the Peacocks have a few genuine high points at the early portion of the season.
De'Naya Rippey has shown no signs of a sophomore slump, currently placing top five in the MAAC scoring with 14.5 points per game, and second in rebounds averaging 10 per game.
Carys Roy has been as solid as ever for Saint Peter's, averaging 6.8 points per game and shooting 76.5 percent from the free throw line, the best on the team and 13th overall in the conference.

Jennifer Leedham has won the last two home openers at Saint Peter's. The first victory came against Central Connecticut State on Nov 13. 2023 with a final score of 61-57. Last season, the Peacocks defeated the NJIT Highlanders 65-60 for the first home contest of the year.
Following the matchup with Lehman, Saint Peter's will head back onto the road against Rutgers on Sunday, Nov. 30 before returning home on Wednesday, Dec. 3 to host Army.
