JERSEY CITY, N.J. – The Saint Peter's volleyball team (7-20, 2-14 MAAC) returns home to Run Baby Run Arena this weekend for its last two matches of the 2025 season. The Peacocks are hosting Marist (9-19, 7-9 MAAC) on Friday, Nov. 14, at 6 p.m. ET before playing Siena (13-17, 8-8 MAAC) on Saturday, Nov. 15, at 1 p.m.
Prior to Saint Peter's matchup vs. Siena, the Peacocks will celebrate their five seniors with a Senior Day Ceremony. The five seniors include
Elena Bilhartz,
Cleopatra Diakou,
Sydney Kuzma,
Liz Reyes Pagan and
Jaizahir Marrero George.
Despite the finish this season, this group of seniors has made an everlasting impact on the Saint Peter's volleyball program. Bilhartz and Kuzma each came to Jersey City in 2022 and have been Peacocks ever since. Diakou, Reyes Pagan and Marrero George all joined Saint Peter's volleyball in 2024, but have contributed tons on and off the court in their two years here.
ABOUT THE MARIST RED FOXES
The Red Foxes have split their last four games, 2-2, with one win coming at home and the other on the road. They are led by Sara Dasic, who ranks seventh in the MAAC in kills per set with a 3.16 mark. Caelyn Dumas and Claire Lewis have been a strong duo for Marist as well, rounding out the top-10 in the conference in assists per set.
Marist is coached by Sean Byron, who is in his seventh season as the head coach of the Red Foxes.
ABOUT THE SIENA SAINTS
Before their last loss to Iona, Siena had won back-to-back full set matches against Sacred Heart and Manhattan. Doga Diraz ignited the Saints in their victory over the Jaspers, racking up 22 kills and three blocks. It was Mary Claire Deacy who performed well against the Pioneers, finishing with 13 kills and six blocks. Deacy ranks seventh in the MAAC in hitting percentage (.295)
Siena is coached by Tyler Kanelos, who is in his first season as the head coach of the Saints.
