Jersey City, N.J.- Saint Peter's Baseball came up short to Mount St. Mary's University, 23-8, at Jaroschak Field on Friday afternoon.
Game Notes
- Mount St. Mary's used a 10-run top of the first inning to put away the game early on.
- Garrett Greco, Tyler Smith, and Brendon Wilson each had two RBIs for Saint Peter's.
- Jonny Gilligan received the loss on the mound for the Peacocks.
- Outside of the game, it was a special day for the team as seven seniors graduated from Saint Peter's University on Friday morning before the game.
- With Friday evening's loss, Saint Peter's season record fell to 11-40 overall and 5-18 in conference play.
Saint Peter's will play the final game of the season against Mount St. Mary's on Saturday, May 18 at 1 p.m. at Jaroschak Field. Senior Day ceremonies will begin at 12:40 p.m.
