Lawrenceville, N.J.- Saint Peter's Baseball lost both games of Friday's doubleheader to Rider University.
Game 1 Notes
- The opening game was a heart-breaking loss for the Peacocks as the Broncs scored three runs in the ninth inning to seal a comeback win.
- Jack Winsett recorded the game-winning RBI single for Rider.
- Drew DelCollo received the loss for Saint Peter's.
- Logan Baker led the team with three RBIs. Dominic Morabito added two RBIs to the team's scoring.
Game 2 Notes
- It was another close game that slipped away from the Peacocks in the second half of the game.
- Saint Peter's made the game more competitive at the end with two runs scored in the ninth inning, but they were not enough to force extra innings.
- Alex Rakas recorded two RBIs in the loss.
- Five other Peacocks had RBIs in game two.
- With the two losses, Saint Peter's dropped to a 7-21 season record.
Saint Peter's is looking to salvage the series on Saturday at 1 p.m.
