- In the top of the eighth, Saint Peter's cut into the deficit with five runs scored. Three of the five runs scored were walks.
- With the loss, the Peacocks dropped to 2-6 on the season.
Saint Peter's will be playing a three-game series against Norfolk State University from Friday, March 1 to Sunday, March 3.
