STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.- The Saint Peter's University baseball team fell to Wagner College 13-2 in a midweek non-conference contest.
The Peacocks fall to 6-36 overall, while the Seahawks improve to 23-20.
Wagner jumped out to an early lead with a run in the first and a run in the third.
Saint Peter's rallied back in the third inning with a pair of runs. Junior
Johnathan Behm (Colorado Springs, Colo.) drove in the first run of the game with a ground out. Junior
Rece Stapp (Keller, Texas) drew a bases loaded walk to force in the tying run to even the score at 2-2.
The Seahawks answered in their half of the fourth with 11 runs to pull ahead.
The Peacocks host a conference three-game series against Siena College starting on Friday, May 5 at 3 pm at Jaroschak Field.
