HACKENSACK, N.J.- Saint Peter's University softball senior
Samantha Miler (Penetanguishene, Ontario) drove in two runs as thew Peacocks fell to Fairleigh Dickinson University 7-2 in a non-conference clash.
The Peacocks fall to 25-17, while the Knights improve to 20-26.
Fairleigh Dickinson took the lead with seven runs over the first five innings.
In the sixth, graduate
Anja Solveig Kane (Manchester, Township, N.J.) and freshman
Tai Turner (Havre De Grace, Md.) singled with one out. Following a sacrifice bunt, Miller singled in both runners to cut the score to 7-2.
The Peacocks host Fairfield University in a conference doubleheader on Friday, April 28 at noon at Jaroschak Field.
