Box Score JERSEY CITY, N.J. - The Saint Peter's Women's Basketball team fell Monday night against Niagara at home by a score of 74-57.
How it Happened
Graduate Student Mikia Keith showcased her shooting skills on Monday night by actively engaging in perimeter shooting. During the first quarter, Keith managed to accumulate a noteworthy 6 points. Her performance remained consistent as she successfully made three out of seven field goal attempts in the first half of the game. This demonstrated her ability to contribute effectively to her team's scoring efforts, particularly with her accuracy and contribution from beyond the arc.
The Peacocks had three lead scorers tonight in double figures: freshman forward Fatmata Janneh, sophomore guard Jada Leonard, and Keith. Keith and Janneh both secured 11 points while Leonard scored 16. Janneh captured her fifth double-double this season.
Freshman center Carys Roy also made a notable contribution tonight, securing a total of 12 rebounds alongside nine points. She made three of her four field goal tries, demonstrating her efficiency and skill on the court in addition to her ability to score.Â
Saint Peter's collected 44 rebounds collectively during Monday's game, which was double the number grabbed by the Purple Eagles.
