PROVIDENCE, RI – Saint Peter's women's volleyball is on the hunt for its first win when it heads to Providence to play in the Friar Classic this weekend.
The freshmen-laden Peacocks (0-8) have shown progress through their opening slate of matches.

- Freshman middle blocker Morgan Thurlow has been the leader on offense, tallying a team high 40 kills.
- Freshman setter Lillian Konrad has guided the attack with 123 assists.
- Freshman middle blocker Elena Bilhartz has tallied a team-high 18 total blocks.
- Newcomers Laken Dillon and Alexis Kapales lead the team in digs, with 45 and 38 respectively through eight matches.
Other Side of the Net
- Providence currently holds a 4-2 record. They lost to MAAC opponent Iona 3-1 earlier on in the season. The Peacocks are 2-5 all-time against the Friars.
- Holy Cross is 1-7 so far this year, their only win coming against Merrimack, who the Peacocks lost to. Saint Peter's is 0-5 all-time against the Crusaders.
- NJIT swept the Peacocks in their previous meeting this season.
