JERSEY CITY, NJ - The Saint Peter's University women's soccer team lost to Bryant University by a score of 2-0 on Thursday afternoon.
Game Notes
- Freshman goalkeeper Olivia Mackethan was called into action early, making a nice save in the first minute to keep the score tied. Mackethan made another save in the tenth minute.
- Bryant got on the scoreboard in the fifteenth minute.
- Senior defender Fatou Doucoure put a shot high from just outside the box in the 16th minute.
- In the 30th minute, freshman midfielder Alyssa Hackett had a curling effort saved.
- Mackethan made her third save of the game right before halftime, as the Bulldogs led 1-0 at the break.
- Bryant doubled their lead in the 55th minute.
- Neither team was able to generate a quality chance the rest of the game, as the score finished 2-0.
