Baseball Hosts Hofstra on Tuesday

First Pitch

• The Saint Peter's University baseball team concludes their long homestand with a midweek matchup against Hofstra.
• Saint Peter's is coming off a doubleheader split with Quinnipiac on Sunday. Sophomore pitcher Kyle Mahady pitched a complete game and earned the win in Game 1 of the doubleheader.

Hofstra Again?

• The Peacocks and Pride have already met twice this season, with Hofstra taking both of the previous matchups.
• Saint Peter's led for the entirety of the first matchup until Hofstra hit a walk-off three-run home run.
• Hofstra won the second matchup between the two teams 6-2. Saint Peter's scored two unearned runs in the contest.

Team Leaders

• Sophomore outfielder Collin Jensen continues to lead the Peacocks at the plate. He leads the team in batting average (.290), hits (45), runs scored (21), and total bases (64). 
• Graduate infielder Chris Marquart, junior infielder Sam Haney, and Jensen each have three home runs this season.
• Junior infielder Jeff Massicotte has two home runs, while Buckman, junior catcher Michael Cardone, sophomore catcher Cristian Perez, junior outfielder Nick Markantonatos, and sophomore infielder Parker Gray each have one home run on the season.
• Haney leads the team with 22 RBIs.

• The Peacocks hit the road for the final time this season when they visit Marist this weekend for a three game series. First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Friday, while the weekend games are slated for 1 p.m.
