How It Happened
- Saint Peter's struck first in the top half of the first inning, as sophomore outfielder Collin Jensen hit an RBI single to score graduate outfielder Tom Buckman.
- Marist responded with three runs in the bottom of the first. They would score three more in the second.
- The Red Foxes tacked on two more runs in the fifth.
- The Peacocks struck twice in the seventh, as senior outfielder Anthony Abbatine hit an RBI double, while Buckman delivered an RBI sacrifice fly.
