JERSEY CITY, N.J. – The Saint Peter's University baseball team lost to Manhattan 22-7 on Friday afternoon. Graduate infielder Chris Marquart hit a grand slam in the third inning.

How It Happened
- The Jaspers scored two runs in the top of the first.
- The Peacocks left the bases stranded in the bottom of the second.
- Manhattan struck for one run in the third.
- Marquart hit a grand slam in the third to put the Peacocks in front 4-3.
- Manhattan scored twice in the fifth inning to re-take the lead. They scored seven in the sixth, including a grand slam. The Jaspers also scored nine in the seventh, adding another grand slam.
- Freshman outfielder Michael Pollard and junior infielder Jeff Massicotte each recorded RBI's in the eighth for the Peacocks.
