EASTON, PA – The Saint Peter's University baseball team lost to Lafayette 13-3 on Wednesday afternoon. Graduate outfielder Tom Buckman went 1-2 at the plate and drove home two runs.

How It Happened
- The Leopards got on the board in the first, scoring five runs.
- With the bases loaded in the second, Buckman flew out to center, scoring junior outfielder Nick Markantonatos to score the first run for the Peacocks.
- Lafayette scored another run in the second.
- Saint Peter's scored in the third on a wild pitch.
- The Peacocks got a crucial double play ball in the bottom of the third, as graduate infielder Chris Marquart snagged a liner at third, and caught the runner on first.
- Buckman struck again for the Peacocks in the fourth, hitting an RBI double to score junior infielder Mike Dipede.
- Lafayette scored seven runs in the fifth with two outs.
- The game only lasted six innings due to darkness.
