BETHLEHEM, PA – The Saint Peter's University baseball team lost to the Lehigh Mountain Hawks 19-6 on Wednesday afternoon. Graduate infielder Chris Marquart hit his first home run of the season for the Peacocks in the fourth inning.

How It Happened
- SPU jumped out to the early 1-0 lead, as sophomore infielder Jack Eichler reached on a fielder's choice, while sophomore outfielder Collin Jensen scored on an error.
- Lehigh responded with four runs in the second inning.
- Marquart's two run homer in the fourth inning cut the deficit to one for the Peacocks. Senior outfielder Anthony Abbatine scored on the play. The Peacocks would also tag on two RBI walks in the inning, as Jensen and junior infielder Sam Haney were credited with the RBI's. The Peacocks would lead 5-4 at the midpoint of the fourth inning.
- Lehigh scored 10 runs in the bottom of the fourth.
- The Peacocks scored their sixth run of the game off of a double play. Graduate catcher Joel Moore hit into a double play, but junior infielder Jeff Massicotte scored on the play.

- Marquart recorded one hit, scored one run, and had two RBI's.
- Abbatine, freshman catcher Cole Watson and junior infielder Mike Dipede each had a hit and scored a run.
