Volleyball Swept at Siena on Saturday

LOUDONVILLE, NY – The Saint Peter's women's volleyball team lost three sets to none against Siena on Saturday afternoon.

Four Peacocks scored 6.5 points in the contest.

Match Notes

• The first 30 points of the first set were split between the two teams to make it a 15-15 tie. Siena would score the next three points after that to take a 18-15 lead and would not let go of that lead, winning 25-22. 
• The Saints dominated the second set, winning 25-8.
• The Peacocks got out to an early lead in the third set and hung tough throughout, but were unable to win the set, losing 25-20.

Inside the Numbers

• Freshman Elena Bilhartz had 6.5 points and six kills.
• Freshman Sydney Kuzma had six kills and 6.5 points. She also had 12 digs.
• Freshman Mackenzie Tucker recorded 5 kills and 6.5 points.
• Freshman Lillian Konrad had 21 assists and 11 digs.

• Saint Peter's is back in action tomorrow, Sunday, October 30th, as the team faces Marist. The match is scheduled for 2 p.m.
