Schedule Changes
Avengers
- The Peacocks got redemption by beating Marist last time out, the team that took them down in last year's MAAC Championship game.
- Williams, who was held scoreless in the championship game, exploded yesterday by scoring 23 points as well as racking up five steals.
- Senior guard Binta Salawu, who was the leading scorer amongst the returners in two of the three Marist games last season, provided another double digit scoring output off of the bench, scoring ten.
- Junior center Kassondra Brown recorded her fourth double-double of the season, scoring ten points and grabbing ten boards.
STAGnant
- Fairfield has been almost unstoppable in MAAC play this season, posting a 9-1 record, only losing to Siena.
- Led by the MAAC's leading scorer Lou Lopez-Senechal, the Stags have been able to hold opponents to a low 58.3 points per game, which is second best in the MAAC.
- This game could be a pivotal swing game for Saint Peter's, as they currently sit fifth in the MAAC standings, only a game behind second place Manhattan with four games in hand.
